* This calculator is to be used as a guide and provides a rough estimate only. There are a number of factors to consider when sufficient portable sanitation requirements. One conventional 'boxed' unit generally provides about 200 uses before requiring service. Plan for more capacity if food, beverages or alcoholic beverages are being served. Plan for roughly twice as many units for women as for men and do not forget to include barrier free or wheelchair accessible units in your plan.
